This working group will outline key questions and best practices concerning curricula development, job certification and programmatic expansion in the City's green economy
Some Questions to Consider:
• What new skills will be required for green jobs and how will these skills be obtained?
• How can the City work with existing education and training programs to expand their scope and mission to include green industries, rather than creating entirely new programs?
• How can the City ensure that specialized high schools to train students for emerging green jobs are developed without ‘tracking’ them into vocations?
